A little bit about us..
We are the ACF First Coast Chapter, a non-profit organization and sub chapter of the American Culinary Federation. Our Chapter is comprised of members from all aspects of the kitchen. Our membership profiles range from students to educators, from local vendors to Executive Chefs and we cover the spectrum in culinary techniques. We take great pride in our place in the culinary world and the work we do in our local community.
Membership
We are the ACF First Coast Chapter, located in Jacksonville, FL and within driving distance of the National office in St. Augustine. Our membership is comprised of many different levels of culinary opportunities and talent. Our Chapter attracts talent from all elements of our industry, and some are members of our chapter. Our Membership is expanding, join and grow with us!
Volunteerism
Our Chapter is actively involved with our community by volunteering our time and efforts to local charities and fund raisers. The Annual Caring Chefs to benefit the Children Homes Society, the Chef Child Foundation, and local scholarships for students and members are just a few examples of how our Chapter gives back to the community. We are currently working with the Foster Closet charity for an event the first week of June. Join our efforts and make a difference.
Competitions
We have participated in the Baron H. Galand Culinary Knowledge Bowl for students and most recently sponsored Skills USA, in conjunction with the Florida Restaurant Association. We are professional’s sponsoring the growth and education of other culinarians. Many of our members are award winners at the National level.
